Fun Obstacle Course For All Fitness Levels on the Sunny Gold Coast

Our Raw Challenge Gold Coast facility covers 150acres of farm land and forests. Every event we are trying to change the flow of the course and always improve and keep it fun and challenging.
We have 2 courses. A adult course which covers the full 150acres and is 9klms in length with 50plus obstacles and a 3 to 4 klm kids course with 20 plus obstacles.

How do I change my ticket type?2023-02-15T08:55:56+10:00

If you wish to change your existing ticket type, ie. from Adult 9 km to a competitive ticket as a example, you can log into the account that the ticket is under and change the order. Once you enter the change order screen there is a option to “Upgrade ticket” if you click this you can select the ticket you wish to change and the new type of ticket you require.

If there is a difference of price from a lower price ticket to a higher price ticket you will be required to pay the difference. If you are changing from a higher priced ticket to a lower priced ticket there will be nothing to pay and the difference will not be refunded.  

Can I move my ticket to a future event?2023-02-15T08:57:06+10:00

Please note we will only move your ticket to a future event if you have a medical certificate, event postponement or legal reason with proof. Transferring a ticket to a future event will incur a $10 admin fee plus any service charges. Please note there could be extra costs with changing events if there is a price difference between the original ticket price and the new event ticket price.

In the event of an event postponement to a later date, your ticket will automatically be moved to the next event and the admin fee will be waived.

Can I transfer my ticket(s) to another person?2024-10-18T15:02:24+10:00

Transferring a ticket to someone else will incur a $10 admin fee plus any service charges. Please note that only the person who places the order can transfer a ticket and once the transfer has been confirmed it can’t be undone.

If your ticket has a $0.00 value no transfer option will show in your account.

The person who placed the order can go into their account and do the following.

1. Sign into your account https://tickets.rawchallengeqld.com.au/my-account/
2. Find your order you wish to change.

3. Click on the cog wheel to the right of the order and click on change order.
4. Click on Transfer ticket(s) to a friend.
5. Find the ticket you wish to transfer and enter in the new attendees email address.
     If you have multiple tickets. Either click on Yes and enter in the email address or click on no then next on each ticket

The new attendee will be sent a unique promotion code that will allow them to checkout and fill in all the new details.

Please note that any tickets transferred and unclaimed are blank tickets and do not hold any previous day or wave time booked for this event from the previous purchaser, these tickets are also invalid so will not gain you entry until all details are booked online.

NOTE. If the ticket was originally purchased at a cheaper price point than what the tickets are currently now, the system will want to charge the difference.
You will need to contact us with the transfer email you received that shows the redemption code so we can manually adjust it. We will not refund the difference if you choose to pay it.

Unfortunately no. We have thousands of competitors and at times we will fly our own drones up to help make sure everyone is safe.

Unfortunately no. Not even if it’s on a lead – we have farm dogs that freely roam.

If you forgot my account password and when you click to get a email sent you don’t receive it, there is a good chance it’s in your junk / spam folder.

If its not there email us at info@rawchallengeqld.com.au and we will provide you with a temporary one.

Your tickets are emailed out to the person who placed the order on completion of checkout. If they are not in your inbox please check your spam / junk folder.

Can I get a refund?2023-02-15T09:15:28+10:00

No, sorry we cannot issue refunds under any circumstances. If the event has to be cancelled due to natural disaster, acts of God, terrorism, war or any other reason deemed reasonable by the event organizers, the event will be re-scheduled where possible. No refunds will be issued, however the credit will be transferred to the new event if a medical certificate can be provided.

The events will go ahead regardless of most weather conditions. In the event of an extreme condition such as lightning, hail or extreme storms the event may need to be delayed for a period of time. Fortunately, we find that events can be even more fun in the rain!

All spectators and non-participants must purchase a ticket and have signed the waiver form to gain entry to Raw Challenge Event Days. If you do not have a ticket you cannot attend.

**Please note you are quite welcome to come and wait in our social areabut you must purchase a non-participant ticket to do so.

What is the Youth Wave?2023-02-24T11:39:04+10:00

Our Youth course is for those youngsters 7 – 10 years of age and they must be accompanied by an adult (18+) supervisor at all times. This course is approximately 4km, with 30+ fun obstacles.

Youth wave rules:

Youth wave ticketed participants MUST be accompanied throughout the entirety of the course by an adult that has purchased a youth supervisor ticket, this ticket allows the supervisor responsibility for 1 – 4 youth participants, maximum.

NO youth is allowed to participate on this course unaccompanied at any stage, it is the direct responsibility of the adult supervisor to safely control and guide their charges together around this course from start to finish.  Any youth found unsupervised will be removed from the course.

The Youth course IS NOT a multiple lap course.

Obstacles are not compulsory on our challenge courses, so the choice lies with participants and their supervisors to either tackle an obstacle, or go around them, the object at the end of the day is always to enjoy the outdoor experience.

Do I need to know how to swim?2023-02-15T09:19:40+10:00

Participants should be able to swim 50m independently as selected courses will include water crossings along the course. Participants who are uncomfortable with this can elect to bypass the obstacle.

Parking is available at each event for a cost of $10 per car. In order to minimise our environmental impact and for the ease of all participants we strongly recommend car-pooling to minimise the traffic flow.

There will be a photographer on the day that will be taking photos. These images will be available at https://photos.rawchallengeqld.com.au/.
You are also welcome to take your own photos however be mindful that cameras may get damaged.

Yes, a variety of food will be available for purchase at each event. Alcohol will be available to purchase on the day for those over 18 years of age. To purchase alcohol you must have photo ID. You are not permitted to bring your own alcohol to any event.

Yes, there will be a free wash off zone provided at each event to allow participants to wash off, get changed and enjoy the other festivities.
Social distancing rules must be adhered to.

A bag tent will be provided but it will be self serve.

Please leave any thing of value in your locked vehicle.

You must bring Photo ID with you on the day. If you do not have a drivers licence, then any other photo ID is acceptable. We will provide a unmanned bag check area where you can store a change of clothes and towels, but please leave valuables at home as we will not take responsibility for any items that may be lost or damaged in these holding facilities. Food and beverage will be sold at the event. Photo ID will be asked for upon purchasing alcohol.

Participants must be at least 11 years of age to participate in a adult wave. Children aged between 7 and 10 can run a shortened course when accompanied by a supervising adult.

Important! For insurance purposes, ID will be checked for everyone (including under 18’s) participating in the main event.

Please note that for all under 18’s the guardian is required to sign the waiver.

The Waiver is a legal document and by signing this you are declaring the child meets the age requirements and that there date of birth listed on the ticket is correct.

There are no time restrictions to complete the course. The event is a challenge of strength, endurance and determination and is suitable for anyone regardless of their fitness level and looking for a great experience to remember. It is best to ensure that you are able to walk the selected distance without long breaks to ensure your ability to complete each course.

Wear clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty or losing: Or if you want to be a little bit crazy dress up to stand out as an individual, or collectively to identify a sporting or corporate team that you are representing.

Yes, there will be a number of water stations along each course and at finish lines. It is encouraged that participants carry with them water and water bottle carriers for their own personal use. These can be replenished at the drink stations around the course.

Yes, however like all adventure style challenges there are risks associated with this style of event and all participants will need to sign a waiver form prior to taking part.

First Aid personnel will be present on day of the event.
It is recommended that you hold your own personal accident and ambulance cover. If Participants do not feel comfortable with any obstacle they should choose to bypass them.
